The essence and spirit of the 72nd Republic Day was beautifully captured by the students of Grade 3 who conducted a virtual special assembly to mark the momentous day. The celebration, comprising of a speech, nukkad natak and dance performance evoked an overwhelming feeling of national pride amongst the audience. It began with an inspirational speech by a student of Grade 5 who, in her speech, called for introspection and affirmation of our constitutional values. After that, students enthusiastically portrayed the true meaning of ‘Republic’ through a nukkad natak which was followed by a patriotic dance performance. The headmistress ma’am, in her address, appreciated the students for putting up a great assembly and talked about the leadership skills and global cooperation shown by our country in times of COVID- 19. She further encouraged the students to uphold the constitutional values and promise to do something for their country to make everyone proud.Students also took part in various activities such as show and tell, poster making, elocution and panel discussion to learn the significance of this historic day.
