Uttam School for Girls celebrated World Dance Day in style with a mesmerizing Odissi Dance performance by the legendary Padma Shree Shrimati Madhavi Mudgal Ji, in collaboration with Spic Macay- Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth.Padma Shree Madhavi Mudgal has been recognized with numerous awards throughout her illustrious career as an exponent of Odissi dance. Her three performances included the manglacharan, pure Odissi composition, and a choreography on an Odissi poem.Her talented student, Ms. Shalakha Rai, joined her for captivating Abhinaya and Moksha performances, which were a visual treat for all present.
