*Expanding Horizons: Uttam School for Girls Inspires Students to Learn Beyond the Classroom and Master Life Skills!*On 28th May 2023, Uttam School for Girls organized an IAYP (International Award for Young People) training program. A group of 61 students and 7 teachers embarked on an adventurous three-day trip to Camp Hornbill, Kyari, Jim Corbett. Uttam School, affiliated with the prestigious IAYP program for 16 years, empowers students to dream, discover, and create a lasting impact through such a non-formal education framework.Our students engaged in a range of enriching activities during the program, including:• Nature walk• Bird walking • Mountain hiking • Body surfing • Cycling • Attended workshop on Waste Management • Community service- Cleanliness DriveThese training programs provide students with the opportunity to nurture their potential, enhance problem-solving skills, foster collaboration, and develop harmonious coexistence with nature.
