Uttam School for Girls Empowers Mother-Daughter Bonding with a Unique Mother’s Day Celebration!*Rudyard Kipling once said, “Since God could not be everywhere, therefore he created mothers.” At Uttam School for Girls, this sentiment was celebrated through a special Mother’s Day event on May 6th, 2023. The Nursery to Grade III students participated in a variety of activities with their mothers, creating memories that will last a lifetime.The day kicked off with a story-telling session for Nursery students and their mothers, followed by an art workshop. LKG and UKG students learned classical dance moves with their moms, while Grade I students made creative cards. Grade II students made thank-you bookmarks, and Grade III students and their mothers learned the Polka Dot art of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.Each mother-daughter duo took home their unique artwork as a cherished memento of their special day together. This event was a wonderful way for the students to show their appreciation for their mothers and to strengthen the bond between them. As it’s rightly said, mothers are a special creation, and this day was a beautiful celebration of that fact.
