“There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on treasure island” Walt Disney has aptly quantified books as the most invaluable treasure of all. The third day of the English Literary Week – Literaria at Uttam School for Girls witnessed some of the legendary story characters portrayed by Grade 3 students as a part of the Story Walk event The event also paid tribute to our nation’s pride, the tiger, as we observed The International Tiger Day. The magnificence of Richard Parker , sophistication and intensity of Sher Khan, the fun element of Alex and the benevolence of Augustus all came alive in the children’s performances.
