International Institute of Hotel Management is a hospitality and hotel management school which gives a platform to the budding chefs to showcase their talent by hosting the Young Chef India Competition. Uttam School for Girls participated in this competition with it’s team of 29 students. The First round was held in December last year.
In the second round, the participants were given two key ingredients with which to create an Indian dish.
10 girls from Delhi NCR zone were selected for the final round out of which 4 were students from Uttam School . Three winners were chosen out of the 10 participants in the final round. Top three participants were given cash awards. Manya Agarwal of Uttam School for Girls was declared as the second runners up by the renowned chef Ranveer Brar and was awarded a cash prize of 5000 rupees.
