The Community Outreach Programme is integral to the Uttam School ethos. Our students are sensitized to understand the problems that the larger part of the society, especially the underprivileged, face today.
Uttam School, since its inception, has been deeply committed to initiatives for the betterment of the society. Each year, our students undertake programmes and make earnest efforts to bring some positive change in the society.
The students have actively participated in programmes like Teach India, Computer Literacy Drive and Financial Literacy. Under the initiative Hold My Hand, the school has imparted free computer lessons to a group of girls from the nearby Razapur village.
The school has been an enthusiastic participant in government and non-government initiatives likes Plantation Drive, Cleanliness Drive and Conservation Drive.
Our students also undertook the responsibility to address social issues like proper waste management through its programme Mission Butterfly, Hindon Cleanliness Drive and Rally for Rivers.
The school provides infrastructural and financial aid to Sewa Samarpan, a school for the underprivileged community of our society. The school’s resources like the computer labs and sports fields are shared with them. The students of this school are given exposure to the outer world by organising short excursions for them and are invited to participate in a number of activities held at Uttam School. We organise fund-raising programmes where the proceeds are used for procuring books and stationery for the students of Sewa Samarpan.
