From September 11th to 17th, a group of six Uttam students and two teachers participated in a study tour to Japan, engaging in an enriching exchange program with Toshimagaoka Joshigakuen School.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome featuring traditional performances, setting a vibrant tone for the cultural immersion that followed.
Uttam students explored the school’s advanced educational infrastructure, including technology-integrated classrooms and a history museum, and participated in various cultural clubs such as tea making and AWA dance, which deepened their appreciation for Japanese traditions. They also enjoyed practical experiences like calligraphy and dango cooking, alongside mindfulness practices that highlighted Japanese values of respect and responsibility.
