Mrs.
Divya Joshi (ex-principal) has become a landmark in the
history of Uttam School for being it's first Principal. She had the honour of getting CBSE recognition till grade X.
Uttam School opened its doors formally on April 1st 1995 with classes
from Nursery to Grade VIII. A 'havan' of purification and an invocation
of blessings was followed by Mrs. Joshi's speech giving parents a vision
of our plans for the future of the school. It was during her tenure that
several vital decisions were taken and traditions established.
Mrs. Joshi's personality, expertise and sincere love for our students
endeared her not only to the student community but to the parent body as
well. She would happily join the students at basket ball or act as a
substitution teacher.
In December 1996, Mrs. Joshi moved on to Meerut to face the challenges
of setting up a new project.
The mantle of responsibility then fell on the able shoulders of Mrs.
Asha Nair.
