While studies are conducted according to the prescribed curriculum, a
constant effort is made to motivate and endorse meaningful working on
the projects and free development of academic skills through skillful
drawing out of a child’s potentials. To enhance creativity various
co-curricular activities are conducted on fixed days of week. Saturdays
are reserved for activity based learning only. Well known experts in a
particular field are invited to give a presentation / demonstration to
the students. The school has state-of-the art infrastructure. There is
an activity wing consisting of dance rooms, art studio & a mini
gymnasium. The Billiards room boasts of 3 pool tables, there is a
Bowling Alley & a mini Golf Course. The newest additions are the two
swimming pools adhering to highest quality and standards. A student may
opt for any two activities from those mentioned.
At Uttam School, games and sports are an integral part of the
curriculum. Great emphasis is laid on encouraging the children to
participate in a variety of games and sports in school. Inter house
competitions are organized. Professional coaches impart exclusive
training in a wide variety of games particularly, Swimming, Tennis, Golf
and Yoga. Regular physical exercises are a part of the School
Curriculum. Our students are trained to participate even at the National
& International level. Our students have won medals at the National
Games at Hyderabad for shot put. Many of our students have found a berth
in U.P Netball team & have also represented the country in the
tournament in Hong Kong in 2002. The newest additions are the two
swimming pools adhering to highest quality and standards, Bowling Alley
and play equipment for the pre-primary wing.
